One is filled with workout music and the other (the green one just purchased) is filled with a myriad of relaxing music. And they are so easy to carry anywhere you go. I actually have two of these and they are great. I just grab one of them and run with it, whether it be to the gym or to the park for a laid-back kind of day.
What is there to say about the iPod shuffle that hasn't already been said in the other 300+ reviews. So here are the five things *I* like best about it:It's small and lightweight and goes right into my shirt pocket. It's inexpensive so if i lose or break it or if it is stolen no big deal.I can use the controls without looking at it.It holds just the right amount of music.Sand doesn't mess it up at the beach. The charge lasts a long time.Okay, so that's six.Anyway, I've had my shuffle for 2 1/2 years and I still love it.
It's fun to be able to pick out my current favs and put just those on the shuffle. I had an older iPod for years and have a library of 100'S songs. My shuffle reflects my "music mood" now and I just change the shuffles library to reflect what type of workout I want to do.
For me, smaller is better, and they don't come much smaller than this. I certainly don't need more than this Shuffle's capacity. It easy to use, has good sound, and the controls are so minimal and manageable that I don't have to take it out of my pocket to use them. I don't need a screen that shows me the song that's playing. But if you do like it simple, prefer Apple products, and either don't want to or can't spend a lot of money, I believe you'll be happy with the Shuffle. And I am not looking to impress anyone with something super-expensive and eye-catching.
Of course, not everyone feels that no-frills is the way to go. All I wanted was an iPod that I could listen to while taking a walk or riding the subway to and from work. I don't need video; I listen to music to enjoy listening to music. So.the tiny iPod Shuffle is perfect for me.
She loves it. Thank you for helping me with the perfect gift. I got this for my grandaughter as a Christmas present. She even slept with it.
